Dalla Vina Wines, owned by Karl & Carole Dinger of Wilsonville, has received high acclaims once again, for our premium wines. The 2007 Northwest Wine Summit competition, the largest wine competition in the Pacific Northwest with over 1,000 entries blind tasted, was held at Mt. Hood's historic Timberline Lodge. We are pleased to announce that our small family-owned winery was awarded one gold, four silver and two bronze medals by this prestigious competition. Our 2005 Amore, Late Harvest Semillon, received a gold medal and "Best Dessert Wine" while the Pinot Noir, Syrah, Chardonnay and Bella Vista Red received Silver Medals. Our Cabernet Franc & Cabernet Sauvignon both received Bronze. These awards are indeed impressive showing the consistency in our winemaking. Our production increased for the 2005 vintage still small at 1,000 cases, our wines will continue to be highly sought after. We are excited to be adding new varietals for 2006 including our first Estate Pinot Noir.

A superior wine made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from the Six Prong Vineyard. Its production is a long and exacting one requiring the fruit to be hand sorted, then gently pressed and fermented in small, open-top fermenter. Entirely hand made, this wine expresses the true essence, aroma and character of the varietal.

Finesse, strength and intensity – this Syrah has it all. Small, intensely flavored berries, hand sorted then vinted in the tradition of minimalist intervention, produced this wine of great complexity. The fruit is deep and concentrated and a long, harmonious finish follows the smooth and textured palate.

The 2005 vintage was harvested in late November when the grapes were intensely ripe and flavorful. The wine is unctuously rich and sensual, with an enchanting nose ofwhite peaches and melon. Full-fruit flavored and not overly sweet, yet gracefully poised with sharp acidity. An intriguing wine – one you’re sure to cherish. Serve at cellar temperature.

88 cases made. A wonderfully rich and complex nose, dominated by butterscotch and vanilla aromas. Rich and viscous, this wine is a lovely golden color with faint orange highlights. Tropical fruit and toasty hazelnut flavors prominently displayed in the long, lingering finish. A perfect match for grilled seafood and lighter red meats.

104 cases made. A big, velevety rich, full bodied wine with ripe red fruits, most notably strawberry, cherry and raspberries on the nose and palate. The long finish is punctuated with earth and toasty oak, even in it's youth. An excellent example of this great vintage, satisfyingly rich now but sure to improve with age. A great pairing with grilled salmon or turkey.
